Discussion:
TT - reimbursement resolutions, will reimburse. BASWA pay out of cash reserves, when issue bonds, will reimburse ourselves at that time. $1.6 mill & $700,000 task order for design work on new cell. where will $ come from. Landfill/BASWA post closure fund.
Fairbanks - bonds? TT - bid out this fall, arbitrage rules, wait longer. |

4.b. Resolution Number 70 executing Task Order #21 for the Engineer-Owner Agreement between BASWA and Burns McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc., for professional services including engineering services for the development of the first phase of the BASWA South MSW Landfill.

Discussion:
TT - task order 2 items in design of new landfill. own on south side of where current landfill is. $435,000 site entrance & facility design. where buildings will sit, etc. $_____ Cell S-1, leachate install force main to carry from landfill to sanitary system. completed by end of 2025. bid for new cell October 2025
will have 2 scales, small scale house with landfill attendant. 1 bldg like Murphy bldg, storage for equipment & office area, to left on north side another bldg pole shed is what looking at. also looking to include a storm shelter. will have 2 bids, one for dirt work, 1 for bulding. south side leachate container, 10,000 gallons, then pumped to force main 6-7 cells, each cell 7 years, 40-50 year life |
