Mrs. Schlichtemeier - One Act/Speech
Discussion:
Mrs. Schlichtemeier has been a member of the Nebraska Speech and Communications Theatre Associations for 19 years and has served on the board since 2017. Every year we hold an annual convention where we give out awards. Last spring, myself and Keri Hogue from Elmwood Murdock nominated Mr. Krause for the outstanding administrator award. Mr. Krause won the award and Mrs. Schlichtemeier also received a platinum endorsement. NIETOC is a national tournament that will be held in Bellevue this year. Looking forward to taking some students there this May.
Dani Ahrens, a senior at Conestoga, is 1 of 48 students in Nebraska nominated for the Believers and Achievers Award. The winner will receive a $500 scholarship. |

Mr. Brokaw with work-based learning. Currently, we have 7 students working towards work-based learning. Last year we attended 10 field trips that accumulated 90 students participating. We have one student who signed a contract as a junior in high school for a full tuition reimbursement program and guaranteed a job. We have taken 1 field trip this year so far, with a lot of hands-on-job site experience.
