Director of Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction, Lisa Bergmeyer
Discussion:
PD day yesterday 5/8 to celebrate tentative data and reflect. This data is important to set goals and growth for teachers and good information for teachers next year so they can plan for any possible alterations to the curriculum. Reflected on school improvement teams, neat to see the connections between buildings in how teachers are improving growth and challenging students. Presented grades fall to spring percentage growth numbers. The 3rd-8th grade was the state testing grade, but numbers are being set this summer and they're not public scores yet. Teachers also spoke on day to day support for grade levels that aren't reaching their goals. Mental Health data, through SABERS we saw a decrease in students' self-identifying in these mental health concerns. All the ELA curriculum came yesterday and teachers are excited, so thank you to the board for their support on that. Thanks to students and staff for all their hard work they have put forth this school year.
