Discussion:  Dr. Lopez updated the Board the following. Follow up public release of AYP one year ago we were looking at not met in reading at all levels Theis year scores has met status elementary, ms and hs at reading and math with increased cut score. 2 consective years of met status one federal accountability and 2 concetive not met but improved as this is the 1st year we havemet of the two years. Sub groups Ms sped free/res Hs free/causcaus need assistance Forusm for stafff meember about half done visiting meeting. Gathering infro. Thanked staff for their time Construstion update hoped to have asphalt by Thursday this week. Temperatrue is a concern due to weather. EFIS also needs weather, may need to tent and bring in heaters. Fundraising of 202,510.21 in donations for complex. Thanked the community for their support. State School Board Convention in Omaha, on Wed 16 continue Thursday and Friday. Have 4 board members going. Have National Conf 8 April 20-23. Doris - Attendance at national conference. Doris is not going it is wrong that all are going good to go. Can't pay teachers any more but yet all going to conference. Also technogoly needs, could by carts for school not good choice to spend $20,000.00 right now. Monte how do we ususally do. Bugeted for 3 or 4. Over the past 6 years not all 3-4 have gone so this has been some carry eha holiday, professional development for teachers, admin and board and will be able to fund on a one time basis. Eha helped. Jim very conserviative normal time in rotation to go and time he has not went and did not go state conference. No guilt about time going, but understands Doris thought. Spent lots of money try to save. Too much money. Issue is number of memeber attending not that we are going. Monte never been, but may be his last time. This is a one time opportunity.

Discussion:  Committee Whole - Share Statewide test results. Shared strategies used to achieve this. Updated St Thompson 5105. School & Community - 2 meeitngs Oct 7 PL - Teacher conference turn out, need for plan time however express thanks for PLC time. Share the importance of PLC that public does not understand. Portable 4 7 5 is small. Also addressed the small class room because of high needs Ms = State wide test results of math and reading. ILP interventions programs are working well and will continue to implement. Hard work of staff and committed lots to the team to improve

Discussion:  Jami Jo - Revised changes by NDE by giving flexibility what goes into policy and more into procedures. Will work like have shift from policy to procedures.

8.7. 1st Reading Policy 2115 Administration Evaluation Procedures
Discussion:  Dr. Lopez - Annualy need to complete Rule 10 compliacne. Law adopt policy the more defines eval processe for all certified staff not just teachers. Such as couseloors, etc. Informed of right of eval process, how long was obervation period. Need how long is instruction periord, rights, how informeed, imformed strengths and weakneess. Tobias Section 3 - will maybe change langauage once per year and sup 2 time first 2 years. 2115 apprasier 5450 evaluatoer pick term and use one to be consistent in policy.
8.8. 1st Reading Policy 4450 Certified Staff Supervision and Evaluation
Discussion:  Dr. Lopez - Revision of 4550 teacher said cetified staff. cant just define teaching said profressionl practice. Had to define a instructional peiord, for those not so defined it might be 40 minutes. School pshcy 40 minutes will be the time at least. Also added classroom orgianiztion, classroom performance, and if not teacher cewrtificted sgtaff member does not have a classroom the observation that is typical of his or her professional expectation
8.9. 1st Reading Policy 5105 Admission, Compulsory Attendance, Married Students
Discussion:  Dr. Thompson Changes on k enrollment changes to statue Date of K enrollemnt and create procuderes for early entrance. Oct 15 to July 31 5 on or before Create and approve asccessment to dtermime if can carry out work of Kinderngaren a year early access mental, social and emotional and developmental skills. Highlighted the accessment that will be used. Enrollment Expelled or Age 21 Changed name drop married students no long referred too.
