1. Call to Order
Discussion:  Called to order at 7:00 PM

Discussion:  Those present recited the pledge of allegiance
3. Outstanding Recognition
3.1. Employee of the Month
Discussion:  Jackie - Introduced Karen Dittbrenner Media Spec at MS. All teachers have classroom support Find sites and set up leason Strong tech support Extra mile for staff and students. Weekly broadcast and E-Cyber coach.
3.2. Keep America Beautiful National Award - Distinguished Service Citation in the "Youth" Category

Discussion:  John Jarosh introduced Mike Policky and Linda Grell the second time for the recycle award Nebraska Award and now the National Award. Recycle project explained. Shared pictures and brochure. Won 6,237 pounds for 5 months. One of ten awards US and Canada. Recycled glass award presented. Middle thanked Linda Grell for her support for recycling and the community. Linda did this as a surprise. Mr. Policy thanked the kid who do all the work. Thanks to teacher to teach recycling is the thing to do. Thanked maintenance who did the hauling.

Discussion:  John and Pat 1-5-14 attended. GNSA going back to original purpose. Maybe had expanded to far back to equalization Viablity of the group. Number of district drop out and started own group. 2-16-14 more discussion John - Bill LB725 tinkers with State Aid changes local effort rate. 6850 mil this year 4477 next year if do not pass this bill.

8. Recognition of Outgoing Board Member

Discussion:  Pat Second month in the row Pat is done. 1st phone call when offered the position. To encourage and come to Beatrice. Every board member has a style, very upbeat and positive and ability to see the big picture. Humor is at time funny. Ability to not take verything too seriously. Very fortunate to have knowlege about education. Personal thanks for his commitment.
