Rationale:  We will ask the Board of Education to approve student fees for the 2014-2015 school year as follows:

  1. Transportation Fees
    • Current rate is $108. Recommended rate is $111.

  2. Lunch Fees
    • Recommend a .05 increase. This is required by the Federal Government based upon pricing indexes they publish.

  3. Instrument Rental
    • Currently, we are at $70 for orchestra and $95 for band instruments. This covers the cost of repairing equipment. Income for instrument repair costs are barely sufficient to cover the costs, while orchestra fees do cover costs. We recommend increasing the Band to $100 and leaving orchestra at $70.
